Enjoy peace & seclusion at Carriage House Cabin #1!  Located within a 15 min drive of The Kokosing, Mohican, and Mohawk Rivers conjunction.  This private property consists of 5 wooded acres/trails, Carriage House Cabin #2, and shared pavilion.  Knox and Coshocton counties provide many indoor and outdoor adventures inside and outside of the immediate area.  Go on an adventure, or stay in and relax! The cabin is the perfect getaway for those traveling with a large family and/or group of friends.

Your Property: Carriage House Cabin #1 is approximately a couple hundred feet from Carriage House Cabin #2 on a shared gravel driveway with separate parking areas for both cabins.  If you read our cabin reviews, privacy is never a concern.  Carriage House Cabin #1 is very private and has three levels.  The top level includes two bedrooms (queen bed and double bed), a large full bath with separate shower/jacuzzi tub, and a loft area with TV and sitting area/futon (double bed).  The main level consists of a large seating area with TV, large kitchen table/chairs, fully equipped kitchen, half bath, and outdoor upper deck with seating area and propane grill.   The lower level consists of two bedrooms (queen beds), a seating area/futon (double bed), a seated bar, a bar table/chairs, and a full bath (shower).  Walk right out of the lower level to access the private lower patio, lower patio table/chairs, private covered hot tub, private fire pit/wood crib/picnic table (30 pieces of wood provided per stay), pavilion (a short walk away), wooded walking trail around the property, and backyard/woods (complete with horseshoe pits). 

We are pleased to announce as part of the federal rural development grant we now of 300mb optical cable WIFI. Way more than needed for streaming, all of your devices, or work applications.

• Items we provide:  Toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, coffee filters, dish soap, hand soap, cleaning products for the kitchen, bathing towels, hand towels, bath soap, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, DirecTV, propane grill, propane, hot tub, fireplace/pit, wood, private yard, outdoor furniture, and shared picnic pavilion with charcoal grill (has electric, lights, and a ceiling fan)
  
  
• Items to bring: Groceries are available at Walmart and Kroger, approximately a 25-30 minute drive straight down 36 to Mount Vernon.  We do offer a local Family Dollar that is approximately 5 miles from the Carriage House. The address is: 31999 E US Hwy 36, Walhonding, OH 43843.  The Family Dollar is more for last minute items you may have forgotten to bring.  The following is a list of some items you may want to bring for your convenience: beach towels for hot tub, food, condiments, coffee, iron and personal toiletries.
  
  
• Other details to note/Things to Bring: We recommend bringing your own fold-up chairs for sitting around the firepit area.  Some guests like to bring their own large beach towels for the hot tub, though extra standard-sized bath towels are provided.  The well water is perfectly safe to drink and cook with, though most guests prefer to bring bottled water strictly for drinking.  The kitchen is extremely well equipped with just about everything you could possibly need for standard cooking/grilling.  The coffee maker is a standard drip coffee maker. There is a crockpot located on the lower shelf of the lower-level bar available for your use. If you have a specific cooking concern/need, feel free to reach out and verify with us if the kitchen is equipped with that specific need.
  
  
• Guest Access: You will have access to the entire cabin, the immediate area around the cabin, and the 5 acres of woods and trails.  We definitely recommend exploring the trail on the lower 3 acres down to the ravine and exploring the ravine. Please do not explore the woods beyond the ravine, it is not our property.
